1. Lighting: Place your Calathea orbifolia in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. If natural light is limited, the plant can tolerate lower light conditions but may not grow as vigorously.

2. Watering and Humidity: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, using distilled or rainwater to prevent leaf tip browning caused by minerals in tap water. Maintain high humidity levels around the plant, ideally above 60%, by using methods such as placing the pot on a saucer filled with pebbles and water, or using a humidifier.

3. Temperature and Environment: Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 26°C (65°F to 79°F) and avoid exposing the plant to drafts or sudden temperature changes. Regularly misting the leaves can also help increase humidity, but ensure water doesn't sit on the leaves to prevent rot.
